Racheal’s baby shower | The Tea Room

This is the first of three photography sessions I did for the lovely Racheal & Marcello.
It began with Racheal’s baby shower, then I photographed portraits of them together while Racheal was expecting their baby and again when their baby girl was born.
When I spoke with Racheal on the phone before her baby shower, she spoke of the flowers she wanted to put on the tables & the dress she would wear.
I do love how beautiful this stage is, where an expecting mother carves a path of beauty toward meeting the baby she is carrying.
Often an expecting mother will begin nesting, or journal the pregnancy, or make a space for the baby, or create a baby shower… either way it is all an out pouring of her joy & love for the little one she is waiting for.
