My baby part way through a roll.
This is the stage she is at.
She first rolled at 3 months old.
Now at 4 months she only stays on her back for the shortest time before commencing the inevitable roll onto her belly.
It doesn’t matter how many children you’ve watched go through development milestones, they are still magical to witness all over again.
They start out unable to do anything for themselves, then within weeks they are looking around, smiling, holding objects in their hands & rolling over like champions.
She’ll keep rolling, then she’ll be up on her knees, she’ll rock back & forward, she’ll crawl, she’ll walk… & in no time at all she won’t be a baby.
So I cherish every precious roll like it might be her last, because eventually one of them will be.
