Our peaceful sleeper. She turned 17 months old yesterday. She naps once a day for about an hour in the middle of the day & sleeps for 12 hours (with a couple of dream feeds) at night. We held her in our arms for most of her day naps until she was about 15 months old. Then in December we bought her a cot just for her day naps and the first part of her evening sleep. After her first dream feed she sleeps snuggled into us until morning. During the day she falls asleep either being rocked to music in her dads arms or as her eyes grow heavy during a breastfeed. Then she lays just like this wherever we put her down and sometimes it’s so hard not to watch her sleep… her little belly moving up and down as she breathes, knees bent and her arms above her head as she fully surrenders to rest.
