They read every day. Often they’ll read a few times a day. They read so much more than I did at their age. They genuinely love books. They pause to tell me the funny bits.
“Hey mum, listen to this! It’s sooo funny!”
Anouk enjoys reading Anh Do ‘Weirdo’ books and the Andy Griffiths ‘Treehouse series’. They make her laugh.
Ava has been devouring ‘How to speak dolphin’ over the past couple of weeks and at bedtime she’s zooming through the ‘Friday Barnes’ (girl detective) series.
Anouk likes anything silly & funny.
Ava likes anything about dolphins or anything with a bit of mystery & thrill.
So this photo is just one for the time capsule. One that might make them reminisce about the books they read in the Summer of 2017.
