a new bond

My heart was happy the first time I turned & saw them holding hands in the car & that they had fallen asleep togther that way.

I was thankful I had my camera with me.
It wasn’t until I recently watched the video of us bringing Anouk home from hospital at one day old,

that I actually realised they held hands that night too, the very first time they were in the car with each other.
