When motherhood was new, I wondered. I wondered what times waited in our future. I wondered what it would look like. The days ahead, where everything would be new through her eyes. I wrote in her baby book that what ever happened we would laugh together. I promised her laughter. I hoped we would have another & I hoped they’d be friends.
