Anouk.
Age 6.
You’ve got rhythm.
You whistle… constantly.
Comedian.
Adventurous.
Your pockets are always filled with things you’ve collected from the ground.
You bring home sticks with grand plans to make something out of them.
You store treasures in hidden places in your room.
You write in your diary.
You still carry your teddy bear and your toy puppy under your arm.
You try new things.
You are confident.
You are fun.
You are head strong.
You laugh at the silliest things.
You love it when dad jumps on the trampoline with you.
You pick flowers.
You throw your arms around your friends.
You love to cuddle.
You won’t go to sleep without a story.
You don’t like having your hair brushed.
You would happily stay in your pajama’s all day.
You save your money & your sweets.
When you are tired you put your hand on my right hip under my top
You make up songs.
You love to play schools or vets or airports or any imaginary game with your sister.
You play ‘mums and dads’ at school lunch time.
You are grown up in many ways, but you still have a total meltdown if we do something like cut your sandwich the wrong way or put your toothpaste on your toothbrush for you… and that’s when I realise you are still little.
