We lived without a television for a few years. No one in the family missed it. They filled in the time with play & creativity. Last year though I started to reminisce about some of my favourite childhood tv shows & as Ava had reached primary school I decided it could be nice for her to have the option of enjoying a few of her own. They now have a couple of regular shows they like to watch, but those years without a TV taught them not to be completely reliant on it for entertainment.
I had an idea in mind for today’s photo, but then I looked over & saw the two of them looking totally relaxed, watching a favourite episode with their dogs in their arms & while the last couple of days have included a beach trip, trampolining, bike riding & other fun, this restful moment summed up what can be so nice about holiday time.
